Collegiate Sports

We have been increasingly recognized as the preeminent search firm in collegiate sports recruiting, having successfully completed 14 division-1A AD assignments over the last 7 years, as well as the Executive Director for the division-1A AD Association.

The role of the Athletic Director has changed significantly in recent years, requiring experience in marketing, business management, media, corporate sponsorship and fund raising. Knowledge and sensitivity relative to gender equity and NCAA regulatory procedures are also vital. In addition to knowing the Conference Commissioners, Bowl Directors, top AD’s and Senior Associate AD’s throughout the country, on a personal basis, our broad range of contacts also allows us to present candidates to the committee from outside of the conventional candidate ranks.

We have broad experiences working with search committees. Our role is not to usurp the committee’s or your decision-making authority, but rather to ensure that the best available candidates are presented and to facilitate the process. There are always many applications that will come directly to a university when the position is advertised. However, most of the best candidates will not respond because it could become public. They prefer to deal with Eastman & Beaudine so "confidentiality" can be maintained for a much longer period.

– Our experience in interviewing and evaluation allows us to bring only fully qualified and highly motivated people into the actual committee interview process.

– Our firm’s focus on diversity adds significant value to clients by identifying and presenting an outstanding and diverse slate of well-qualified candidates. Our outreach capabilities assist clients in addressing issues related to gender, ethnic, and racial diversity.
